It started with a TED talk by Ingrid Fetell Lee about joy. Then I got on her mailing list. Then I joined her Facebook group, “Joyspotters.” Then I bought her book, “Joyful: The Surprising Power of Ordinary Things to Create Extraordinary Happiness.” I’ve been immersed in joy ever since. Paying close attention to what brings me joy, to what joy feels like, to what it looks like to me on the clay table.
And so now I have another collection on my homepage: Joy! I’m showcasing my new work that’s inspired by joy. I hope it makes you feel a little joyful, too!
They’re not radically different from pieces I’ve made before. Apparently, I’m often drawn to things that inspire joy, that feel joyful to me. Only now I’m being more intentional about it.
Oh… and I’ve started a 100-day commitment. But more on that some other time.
Can’t wait to see what you do.
